Dan Bauer
President & CEO

Dan Bauer has created and delivered high-impact, strategic marketing initiatives in both the corporate and consulting arenas over the past 50 years. His impact spans more than 100 companies across 30+ industries.

Before launching Bauer & Associates in 1998, he served as Senior Vice President of Global Marketing & Sales for MasterCard International’s global debit business. Prior to that, Dan was Vice President of National Marketing for Citibank. His career also includes a decade in account management and client service with DDB Needham Worldwide and Ketchum Advertising where he worked with Fortune 250 companies. Dan also founded, led and grew an international educational/career consulting firm to rank among the “Inc. 5000” Fastest Growing Private Companies in America.

His experience includes advising public corporations, high growth mid-sized players, and bold startups serving both consumer and business markets — locally, nationally and globally. He earned his MBA degree in general management on fellowship at Harvard Business School, and his Bachelor of Science degree summa cum laude from Ohio University. Dan has served on the board of directors of the Harvard Business School Club of Chicago, and has been an advisor to the University of Chicago’s Graham School. He founded Inc. Magazine’s Young Entrepreneurs initiative and is an active member of Harvard Alumni Entrepreneurs.
